Adopt a Town Project

Grafton, Hill Ave looking North

The Walsh County Historical Society has a goal of offering in this website detailed information about every Walsh County town, present and past.   (To see cities and towns pages click HERE.)

As a volunteer, you will adopt a town to research, then write an article about how, when and why it was founded, who were its early pioneers, how did it grow, what it was like living there long ago, (anything that you would want to know about the place your grandparents were born) and what it’s like today (including photographs).

The articles will be featured in our website, allowing people from around the world to read about the area their ancestors resided in.
